2010 February and March

We are pleased to announce that as of February 1, we will be open Tuesday through Saturday from 11:30am to 5:30pm. This includes The Stonery Cafe which will have a luncheon menu available until 3pm and of course our cheese plate is always available. The Stonery will have seasonal soups, sandwiches and/or salads and occasional later openings on Fridays for Sunset Sips.  The Stonery details can be found under our new button “The Stonery.”  Soups for February are announced but desserts are Anny’s Choice.  Just be assured there will be desserts.  A hint is that we are beginning with Venison Chili using grape-fed venison of course. Valentine’s Day will bring a Chocolate splurge as Chocolates and Cabernet are a natural pairing. We think Norton and Red Jester Chambourcin will pair rather well in a Chocolate Tasting so we invite you to come see for yourself.  Of course Horseshoe Bend Cardinal is a natural with Chocolates.

Facebook page (Horseshoe Bend Vineyards and Winery) is up and running and Twitter pages are in progress and hopefully will be complete before the end of this week.

Directions:

• Take the BG Parkway East or West to Exit 42.
• Turn South on 555 toward Springfield and drive another 500-600 yards to the intersection with Rte 1754 / Chaplin Road
• Take a Left / East and drive a little over four miles to Lawson Lane on the left.
• Take Lawson Lane to the end of the pavement, 1 mile; take a left onto the gravel road.
• Drive about .4 mile; you will pass the Merlot field on the right and then a cattle chute and you’re there (or here!).
• Go a tad further and turn left into the driveway and parking lot.
